Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum  

Restored 1816 mansion, built for Gideon Granger, Postmaster General of the United States for Presidents Jefferson and Madison. A remarkable collection of horse drawn carriages. Restored 19th century law office.

Home to four generations of the Granger Family, the Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum occupy a scenic 10-acre site on North Main Street, just a few blocks from downtown Canandaigua, New York, about 20 miles southeast of Rochester. 12,000 visitors come to the Homestead annually.

Open late May to mid October, 1 P.M. to 5 P.M.
Tuesday through Friday.
Additional Summer hours, June 1 - August 31, 1 P.M. to 5 P.M.
Tuesdays thru Sundays.
CLOSED MONDAYS.

Guided tours on the hour, 1-4 p.m. Tours also available for groups year round by appointment.
Group rates apply.
