To fulfill its mission, the Society shall: • Acquire, preserve, document, and exhibit an historic object and archival collection that reflects the diverse societal fabric of Rockland. • Sponsor programs and publications that are based on sounds scholarship, and which encourage the appreciation of history and the cultural heritage of the people of Rockland. • Promote through programs, services, and example the preservation, restoration, continuing and adaptive use of the County's historic buildings and sites. • Develop and maintain the financial, processional, and human resources necessary to achieve the purposed and goals of organization.
