Museum exhibits are posted to help our visitors know what is going on at the Museums throughout the state. We have put up a number of exhibits that we have found on various Museum websites of New York State. We will be putting up more exhibts as we continue to communicate more with the Museum Community, but we can't do it alone, we need the participation of the Museums to contact us with the information concerning their upcoming exhibts and special events. 2008 Exhibits Fort TiconderogaFort Ticonderoga Monday, August 21 10:45AM Through the Eyes of a Tourist: The 19th-century at Ticonderoga (VIP Tour) Thursday, August 28 At Mt. Independence & Fort Ticonderoga - Fort Ticonderoga, NY A hiking tour of Mount Independence examining Ticonderoga's fortifications from the points of view of 18th-century military engineers, Jeduthan Baldwin and Tadeusz Kosciuszko. Tour led by Nicholas Westbrook, Executive Director and Anne McCarty, Director of Membership and Special Initiatives For Aide-de-Camp, Brigade Major & Maréchal Members of Fort Ticonderoga All tours begin at 10:45 a.m Sunday, September 7 Annual Revolutionary War Encampment - Reenactors portraying British, German, Continental, and Native forces depict the war for (and against) American independence.
